From: ST PAUL'S NEWS : CAKE SALEThe Prefects and Students Council, under the guidance of their teacher Ms Sullivan, organised their most successful cake sale in October 2002. This was one of their fund raising activities of that year and a profit of 500 euro was made. The yearly cake sale is very popular at St. Paul's. Full support of students as well as staff is guaranteed!!! The prefects of 2002-2003 raised 1000 euro in total in their events and they used this to purchase new football jerseys, an overhead projector and resource material for the school. Local shops and businesses are canvassed for donations of cakes, savouries, soft drinks or cash, and the prefects are always delighted with the response. All of the following make donations without which the event would not be as successful: Healy's Fitzpatrick's Shell Aidan Comerford Supervalu Alice Cullen Kelly's Luigi's Hazel Hotel Coughlan Butcher's O'Rourkes Chemist Golden Fry Phone Shop Bank Of Ireland Stack's Chemist Fassinidge's Garage Frawley's Willoughby's Dunphy's Finlay's Earley's
